The Artist Behind The Music
Dante Shivers
Dante Shivers is an American independent singer-songwriter, musician and producer whose emotionally driven music moves freely between alternative rock, blues, folk and cinematic influences. A songwriter first, Shivers follows the emotional needs of each song rather than forcing his music into a predetermined genre, allowing each piece to develop its own sound, character and world.
Writing songs since his teens, Shivers has spent more than two decades developing a catalog shaped by personal storytelling and a willingness to explore wherever a song leads. His writing moves between love, loss, identity, regret, change and the weight of personal history, while leaving room for humor, desire, mischief and the occasional bad decision.
That range can be heard across songs including “Changes,” “Jezebel,” “Poison” and “End of All Summers,” which move between intimate singer-songwriter arrangements, blues-driven rock and larger cinematic productions without losing the voice behind them.
His debut album, American Nightmare, brings those different musical worlds together around a simple philosophy: serve the song, follow the emotion, and let each piece become what it needs to be.
